Introduction

At Gruppo SADA (for a description of the Group, see: https://www.packagingevolution.it/la-nostra-storia/), your privacy is of great importance to us.

Even if you voluntarily submit an unsolicited job application, we want you to feel protected and supported at all times.

Therefore, we kindly invite you to carefully read this privacy policy, drafted in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the “General Data Protection Regulation” (“Regulation”), Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree no. 101/2018 (“Privacy Code”), as well as any other applicable national and/or EU legislation on the protection of personal data. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require any further clarification.

Please also note that if you are contacted for an interview or meeting, the company of Gruppo SADA with which the meeting is scheduled will provide you with additional information on the processing of your data pursuant to Articles 13 of the Regulation and 111-bis of the Privacy Code.

Upon submitting the form above, the personal data (“Data”) you provide will be received by the companies of Gruppo SADA:

  • Sada Partecipazioni S.r.l.

  • Antonio Sada & Figli S.p.A.

  • Sada Packaging S.r.l.

  • Sifim S.r.l.

  • Saim S.r.l.

These companies will process your data as independent data controllers.

Selection activities will be carried out by Sada Partecipazioni S.r.l. (“SP”), the holding company of Gruppo SADA, based in Pontecagnano, via Pacinotti snc, acting as data processor pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR.

Depending on the preferences you indicate in the form and the open positions (vacancies), SP may forward your application to the above-mentioned companies of Gruppo SADA. These companies will process your data as independent controllers and will provide you with all relevant information regarding their processing during the first contact.

Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing

The data processed will include “common” personal data (e.g., name, surname, contact details) and, potentially, “special” categories of data (e.g., data concerning health, trade union membership) provided by you in order to assess and consider your job application.

In particular, if you provide your telephone number (landline or mobile) and your email address, these contact details will only be used to respond to your message or, more generally, to contact you if needed.

The legal basis for processing your data for the aforementioned purposes is the execution and proper handling of your request (Art. 6, par. 1, lett. b) GDPR).

Nature of Data Provision and Consequences of Refusal

Providing your data is optional; however, failure to do so will prevent the data controllers from considering your application.

Categories of Recipients of Personal Data

Your data may be shared with companies within Gruppo SADA but will not be disclosed to the public.

Your data will not be transferred to a third country (outside the European Union) or to an international organization that does not provide an adequate level of data protection equivalent to that of the European Union.

The recipients as described above will process your data either as independent data controllers or as data processors.

In any case, your data may only be processed by personnel specifically authorized by the Data Controller in accordance with Articles 4, no. 10), 29 and 32, par. 4 of the Regulation and Article 2-quaterdecies of the Privacy Code.

Data Retention Criteria

The data you submit as part of your unsolicited application will be stored and considered by the Data Controller for a period of 18 months (from the date the CV is received). If you are not contacted by any Data Controller within this period for an interview and/or meeting, your data will be deleted. In any case, you may choose to submit a new application by completing the above form again.

Data Subject Rights

You have the right, in the cases expressly provided by the Regulation, to exercise the rights under Articles 15 et seq. of the Regulation, including:

  • Request confirmation as to whether your data is being processed and, if so, request access to the relevant information;

  • Request the rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;

  • Request the erasure of your data;

  • Request the restriction of processing;

  • Request to receive your data in a commonly used and machine-readable format, or request the direct transmission to another data controller, where technically feasible (so-called “data portability”).

You also have the right to object, in whole or in part, on legitimate grounds, to the processing of your data.

To exercise these rights, please send a request to the email address: privacy.grupposada@sadaspa.it

Lastly, if you believe that the processing of your data violates the data protection legislation, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
